A historical walking tour of Sharon

More than two dozen people spent Mother's Day evening strolling through Sharon on a historical walking tour, sponsored by the Sharon Beautification Commission and Sharon Historical Society.

The tour was led by Brian Kepple with local historian Bill Cowan.

Landmark buildings on the tour included the former Girls' Buhl Club, Odd Fellows Building, AP Market/Wallace & Carly Lumber Yard, the site of Harmony Bank Building, The Herald, Bolotin's, FE Kerr Moving Co., Messina Brothers Produce, The Wave, A. Wishart & Son, The Old Timer and the Verizon and Wiesen buildings.
