Shenango Heritage Press, the publishing imprint of the Sharon Historical Society, is committed to preserving and promoting the history of the Shenango Valley through high-quality historical publications. Since its founding, the Press has published six titles examining the region’s architecture, industry, communities, and cultural heritage. Drawing upon archival collections, primary source materials, and original research, Shenango Heritage Press brings the stories of the Shenango Valley to readers, researchers, and future generations.

Founded in 2022 to advance local historical scholarship and public understanding, Shenango Heritage Press publishes works exploring the people, industries, architecture, institutions, and events that have shaped western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. Through carefully researched and professionally produced publications, the imprint seeks to document stories that might otherwise be lost to time while making regional history accessible to both scholars and general readers.

Each publication is developed through a collaborative editorial process involving historians, researchers, educators, established authors, and professional editors. Our books are designed and produced to the highest standards, incorporating extensive research, historical photographs, primary source materials, and archival documentation whenever possible.
