"The Official History of the Shenango Valley Flood" is a deluxe reprint of a contemporary history of the most disastrous flood in Sharon's history. The original book, compiled in 1913 by two Sharon newspapermen, includes dozens of photographs of flood scenes, damage and key figures in the recovery effort. It is supplemented by a new 4-page, color epilogue on the flood aftermath and the half-century it took before two flood-control dams proved to be the cure for the common flood.
