Wallis Mansion Christmas Tree Ornament (3.5" in diameter, approx. 3 ounces)

The Wallis Mansion (circa 1901) in Sharon, Pennsylvania, is one of the best examples of the Aesthetic Movement in residential architecture, embodying the best characteristics of the Renaissance, Prairie, and Arts and Crafts styles. In 1900, William L. Wallis commissioned this grand mansion as a mark of achievement amongst fellow titans of industry. Wallis was a partner in the Wallis & Carley Company, a leading Shenango Valley lumber, building supplies, and contracting firm. He was also heavily invested in coal, iron, and steel companies in the region with Frank H. Buhl and Peter L. Kimberly. The Sharon Historical Society acquired the Wallis Mansion in the spring of 2023, transforming the historic home into the Wallis Mansion History Center.
